The Wildlife Sports and Educational Museum, located in Fulton County, NY, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote public understanding and appreciation of hunting, fishing, and trapping traditions and to foster an interest in traditional outdoor sports in future generations.
Inside this expansive 26,000-square-foot facility, you’ll find a world-class collection of hundreds of mounted fish, mammals, and birds. The museum is home to the country's largest and most comprehensive collection of white-tailed deer mounts.
In addition to mounted wildlife specimens, you’ll get an up-close look at hunting, fishing, and trapping memorabilia, displays of early tools and implements used to hunt fish and game, and centuries-old art and artifacts.
The New York State Outdoorsman Hall of Fame Museum is also housed within the Wildlife Sports and Educational Museum. There, you can view the plaques of all inductees, special videos, and interviews with New York State Outdoorsman Hall of Fame members and learn more about conservation-related issues with which our Hall of Fame members have been involved.
Before you leave, you will not want to miss the gift shop—it is truly unique. You’ll find things like children’s toys, leather goods, animal skins and furs, animal night lights, t-shirts, hunting and fishing knives, and more.
